I love love love to laugh & I love it when other people laugh easily. I love being outside. I love every season, season changes, and I fall in love with every place I go (e.g. Everything Colorado, St. Louis, Chicago, Texas hill country, small towns in Arkansas -minus El Dorado).
There are so many places I’ve never been, and if I could, I’d spend my life traveling. I love meeting new people, and hearing their life story.. because everyone’s story is different, and it ultimately shapes who they are.I wish I could spend all of my time talking with people at really cool places (like parks and coffee shops) all over the world… for the rest of my life…
I love to cook healthy, awesome meals. I love to make things (think crafts.. knitting… etc. haha). One of my favorite things is picking peas with my dad & shelling them. He has a beautiful garden by the Arkansas River, and every spring and summer, we pick peas together!
But above it all, I love the Lord with all of my heart. Without Him, I would be miserable, and none of the things I said that I love would matter. My life is beautiful because He makes it beautiful. I can love because I know what love is. And I can smile and laugh because I am in love with a Savior who loves me more than I could ever imagine. His love is perfect, unfailing, and is the reason why I want to live my life to honor Him.
I want everyone to know how amazing He is, how powerful he is, and how perfect His LOVE is! I want everyone to experience the freedom that comes with God’s love. It is a freedom that is unmatched and more liberating than any feeling on earth.
My hope is that my blog will be an open, honest picture of my life. I desperately want to live a life that is a living example of Christ’s love, and I want to honor him with every breath I take. But sometimes I fail miserably and feel like a total jerk. But it’s during those failures that the Lord picks me up, dusts me off, and shows me gently how to walk again. I want this blog to be REAL– a real example of what it means to follow Christ, and a real example of how fun it is to live for the Lord. I hope you enjoy my blog

I see everything you sell is donated to the Music Empowers Foundation. I recently hosted a fundraiser in my home town of Hanover, PA to benefit the Music Empowers Foundation. We wanted it to be a night about the kids. We had 38 kids participate and collected a little over $800! What an amazing feeling to give back!
