If you like smoothies, or want to try making them, this is a great smoothie that I make almost every morning.
(put ingredients into the blender in this order)
1 Banana (can be frozen)
1 or 2 cups of baby spinach (however much you can fit in the blender… won’t affect taste very much)
3 or 4 Large Frozen Strawberries
1/4 cup of Frozen Blueberries
1 scoop of Soy / Whey Protein Powder (I use the Kroger brand)
1 Tbsp of ground flax seed
3 ice cubes
1/2 cup of water
The amazing thing is that you don’t have to use dairy (milk or yogurt) and you get a large serving of fruits and vegetables first thing in the morning. The protein helps me out because I don’t generally eat meat at every meal, and the flaxseed has TONS of health benefits. Ever since I started consuming it, my skin has been really clear, and I haven’t had any stomach aches!

I finally tried this out this morning. It was good…but i think i’m a dunce when it comes to a blender. Somehow i was eating instead of drinking the spinach leaves? Other than that though it was delicious
